The Net Zero Plus Electrical Training Institute features approximately 500kW of photovoltaic rooftop and shade parking structure solar panels, which produce 1.25 times more energy than is needed for ongoing operations at the NZP ETI. The battery energy storage system maximizes PV solar production by storing excess energy that can provide necessary energy in the case of grid interruptions, including the capability to operate independently from the grid for approximately 72 hours.
